Below is a list of Utility Providers for Brownsburg Indiana, Carmel Indiana, Fishers Indiana, Indianapolis Indiana, Noblesville Indiana, Westfield Indiana, and Zionsville Indiana. There is no definitive guide for matching address to the exact provider, though you would hope that there were. In many cases there are multiple providers within a community. This page at least helps you narrow in on the exact provider, but may take a phone call or two to confirm.
There are two major natural gas suppliers in the Metropolitain area. Inside Marion County, that provider is Citizens Energy Group. Outside Marion County, the primary supplier is Vectren. The exception being the Westfield and Eastern Zionsville area. The map to the right shows a simplified coverage area for each utility. Outside of these two service areas, you are likely not covered by a natural gas utility and therefore either reliant on electric, propane, or other fuel source. Contact information for these two providers is below.
There are also two main electrical providers in the Metropolitan Indianapolis Area. Indianapolis Power and Light supplies power to Marion County but branches out into surrounding counties along limited supply lines. The majority of electrical power outside of Marion County is supplied by Duke Energy, or if you are rural enough an REMC may be the supplier. Carmel is probably the community with the most encroachment by IPL. Large sections of Carmel below 126th Street are covered by IPL. North of that would likely be Duke Energy. The IPL crossover map into Carmel is shown below:
Some local communities have their own water utilities including Brownsburg and Carmel. Citizens Water Utility provides water to the cities of Fishers, Indianapolis, Westfield, Zionsville, and parts of Noblesville. Noblesville is also covered by Indiana Amercian Water.
There are quite a few wastewater treatment districts throughout Northern Indianapolis. Some of them provide a nice interactive map so that you can see who the company is that represents your area. Others do not, so if you are not sure you have to try a couple of numbers to find out.
