The Wilson Team has served the real estate needs of the Northern Indianapolis area for over 17 years. We are seasoned real estate consultants who have each owned several homes, and we have been on both sides of the deal multiple times. Meet Debra Wilson
THE EXPERT IN HAMILTON COUNTY REAL ESTATE
Debra is the founding member of the Wilson Team and a long-term Realtor. She cut her teeth in real estate in the fast-paced real estate market of Central Florida. Afterward, Debra started her career as a real estate appraiser and later moved into new home sales, selling in some of the most prestigious neighborhoods around Orlando. And, using these skills, she became a consultant for investors looking for properties in Orlando’s up-and-coming areas.
Debra has been selling homes in Northern Indianapolis since 1998, starting with new home sales in Carmel, Westfield, Brownsburg, and Zionsville. Transitioning to a full-time real estate agent in 2005, she started out at Century 21, then FC Tucker, and now Keller Williams. Debra started the Wilson Team in 2006 after being joined by her husband, Jeff. Since then, she has won numerous awards, including the Builder’s Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) Rookie of the Year award, and has consistently been a top real estate producer.
Debra was the first among Carmel Indiana Realtors to be accredited in home staging, and she is licensed in both Indiana and Florida and spends her spare time scouring the market for investment opportunities. Her combined sales are more than $300 million, with close to 1,000 former and current clients.
Meet Jeff Wilson
REALTOR, GENERAL CONTRACTOR, ENGINEER
Jeff is the technical side of the Wilson team. Besides being a successful Realtor with over 16 years of experience and hundreds of sales, Jeff is an electrical engineer, a general contractor, and an avid house flipper. He is a seasoned investor, a numbers guy, and an all-around problem solver. Jeff is a guy who enjoys getting his hands dirty and loves a challenge. If anything complicated comes up during a home inspection, or if you have specific questions about renovation, structural issues, the value of specific upgrades, or if you just need someone to walk a property with you before listing or purchasing for sound advice on condition and value, he is your guy.
Since Jeff does general contracting, he has contacts throughout the trades, from flooring, framing, drywall, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and cabinetry. He not only knows who to call for the best prices, but he also has those skills himself, so he knows how to size up a job to make sure it is done correctly. If you are building, Jeff will walk the property with you, attend your pre-drywall inspections, and, whether you are building or not, he will guide you through the inspection reports and make you feel comfortable that any issues or concerns that you have are going to be resolved in the right manner.
Meet Ben Carnes
REALTOR, TEACHER, MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACH
If you live in Westfield, Indiana, you will probably recognize Ben. He’s an educator, a former Westfield High School football coach, and a mental performance coach. Ben played football and baseball at Westfield High School, and after college, returned as a teacher and coach in the district for over fifteen years.
Ben and his wife, Carmen, have bought and sold several homes of their own in Westfield over the past few years, so he understands both the buyer and seller perspectives. He has renovated and flipped houses and has insight into the lucrative rental markets surrounding Grand Park. Ben has recently taken his real estate experience to a new level by taking on the role of a general contractor during the construction of his new home in Westfield, which is a challenging role.
